Is it possible to partake of the eucharist every week?

There are two main reasons that some people offer for excusing themselves from receiving the eucharist every week. The first reason is feeling unprepared; while the truth is that to be prepared for communion is simply to feel unworthy, while sincerely praying for the work of God’s grace through repentance and prayer. The second reason is when people lose the meaning of the eucharist because they pray the Divine Liturgy merely as a routine. The eucharist is the medicine of immortality. He who feels the need for this medicine should not stop partaking of the eucharist, or praying, or studying the Holy Bible, or striving to keep the divine commandments. Doing these things prevents us from practicing the rituals in a literal manner that is void of spirit, and instead fills the heart with love for God and love for others.
