What does St. John Chrysostom say about tradition?

After saying that the apostles did not hand down everything in epistles, but also handed down many matters without writing them down, St. John Chrysostom adds, “both the one and the other are worthy of credit. Therefore let us think the tradition of the Church also worthy of credit. It is a tradition, seek no farther.”²⁴⁹
