What does St. Cyprian say about tradition?

St. Cyprian insists that outside the Church there is no salvation, either for heretics or for schismatics: “He can no longer have God for his Father, who has not the Church for his mother.”²⁴³ Therefore, the true interpretation of Scripture and orthodox doctrines are found only within the true Church. The tradition of the true Church is the guardian of the Christian faith.
