What is the Old Testament’s view of social life?

God’s Law is not interested in anything more than a life of righteousness and justice, and both of these are often confused together. In God’s Law, justice has to do with one’s relationship with God and others, with animals and birds, and even with objects. These detailed laws were presented to humanity at the beginning of their spiritual lives to guide them, that they should not deviate from them. Without obeying the law, their sacrifices, prayers, fasting, charity, and all their worship will not be accepted.
