How can the believer know the will of God?

The believer sings together with the Psalmist, “One thing I have desired of the Lord, that I will seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord, all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple” (Ps. 27:4), and hence he knows God’s will. St. Cyril the Great says, “It is befitting for us to admit that the will of the divine nature is best heard in the holy places.”
