What did the Psalmist say about the Church?

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters” (Ps. 23:1–2). The Church is the “green pasture” where our heavenly Christ nurtures us. St. John Chrysostom says, “Each of us has a flock that he leads to green pastures.”⁹⁴⁹
