Why did God create Eve for Adam?

First : so that together they might come to know God who created them and loves them.

Second : that each of them might feel that they are called to have fellowship with the heavenly beings; for their souls are spirit, not flesh. But also, so that they should not feel that the earth is foreign to them, since their bodies were formed from the dust of the earth.

Third : that they might glorify God, so that their souls rejoice.
