What is the role of the Son of God in the work of creation?
Q214 · The Wondrous Creator, the Guardian of the World
John, the evangelist says, “All things were made through Him; and without Him nothing was made, that was made” (John 1:3). Every divine action involved in the creation of the world comes from the Father, through the Son and is completed by the Holy Spirit .435 No divine action is performed by one Hypostasis without the other two. It is the work of the Holy Trinity together in unity and not through three separate acts.
